This is a six-day course with a mandatory self-study component and 9 hours of in-classroom training.

4 Multiple-Choice exams & practical assessments. Here are the details for the MCQ exams:
► Unit 1 (72 questions) Pass mark = 70%
► Unit 2 (50 questions) Pass mark = 70%
► Unit 3 (20 questions) Pass mark = 70%
► Unit 4 (30 questions) Pass mark = 80%
EDU Level 2 Award for Security Officers Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the Level 2 Award for Security Officers in the Private Security Industry certificate.
EDU Level 2 Award for Security Officers Requirements
To qualify for an SIA licence, you must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Have no criminal records
- Have an EDU recognised qualification
- A valid passport or a current UK Driving Licence
- An HSE-compliant Emergency First Aid/First Aid at Work certificate
- Two proofs of address such as utility bills or separate bank statements
EDU Door Supervisor Exam
As part of the EDU Security Officer training pathway, learners may also undertake the EDU Door Supervisor Exam. This exam ensures that candidates are proficient in the essential skills required for front-line security operations, including crowd control, conflict management, and public safety protocols.
EDU Level 2 Award for Security Officers Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the Level 2 Award for Security Officers in the Private Security Industry certificate. This certification validates your capability to perform as a professional Security Officer and meets the mandatory SIA licensing requirements.
